For almost ten years I’ve been putting together a Bestiary of Scottish mythological creatures. I love mythology and the creatures that inhabit the stories and Scotland is rich with story telling traditions that feature these cute, creepy, and often dangerous creatures. The project has allowed me to dive head first into the world researching information from folk tales, story tellers, and exploring Scotland. Here are a few sketches of wee beasties from the project.
